Fees & Practical Information

We believe that accessing psychological support should be as straightforward and transparent as possible. Below you'll find information about our fees, Medicare rebates, funding options, and practice policies. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch we're always happy to help.

Session Length

Standard psychology appointments are 50 minutes in duration. This provides dedicated time to explore what's important to you while allowing us to stay on schedule for all clients.

Consultation Fees

Our fee for a standard 50-minute psychology session is $245.

The Australian Psychological Society (APS) currently recommends a fee of $318 for a standard 46–60 minute consultation. We have chosen to keep our fees below the recommended rate to help make high quality psychological care more accessible.

If you are attending under a Mental Health Care Plan, the current Medicare rebate is $101.55 per session, leaving an out-of-pocket cost of $143.45.

Medicare Rebates

If your GP has prepared a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) and referred you to a psychologist, you may be eligible to receive Medicare rebates for up to 10 individual psychology sessions each calendar year.

If you're unsure whether you're eligible, or would like to know more about the process, your GP can discuss this with you. You can also find further information through Healthdirect Australia.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that life doesn't always go to plan, and occasionally appointments need to be rescheduled or cancelled.

When appointments are cancelled at short notice, it can be difficult to offer that time to another person who may be waiting for support. For this reason, we ask that you provide as much notice as possible if you need to change your appointment.

Our cancellation policy is:

  • More than 48 hours' notice: No fee

  • 24–48 hours' notice: 50% of the consultation fee

  • Less than 24 hours' notice or non-attendance: Full consultation fee

Please note that cancellation fees cannot be claimed through Medicare.
